Hi there!
Today i'm going to speak about surveys.
There are several services where you can create a survey. I wanna tell you about Twitter, Google Forms, Socrative and Quizlet polls.
Twitter polls
Twitter surveys allow you to answer questions asked by other Twitter users. You can also create your own survey. Current results will be displayed immediately.
You can vote in the poll only once. Under the answer variants the current number of votes and the time remaining until the end of voting are displayed.
Final view
The duration of a Twitter poll ranges from 5 minutes to 7 days after it is published, depending on the value specified by the author of the tweet. The most popular option is in bold. If you have voted in a survey, a push notification of the final results may appear on your phone.
Anonymous voting
Information about your participation in the survey is not visible to anyone. Neither the survey creator nor other participants will see who voted and how.
Google Forms
Simple form creation
Choosing different types of questions, changing their sequences and responses is no more difficult than inserting a list into the document.
Opportunities to create surveys and forms
Choose colors, images and fonts to make the shapes look attractive and fit your corporate style. Configure rules to display questions based on user responses.
Analysis of responses and automated reports
Charts based on survey results are updated in real time. You can also open source data in Google Sheets for deeper analysis and automatic processing.
Ability to create and participate in surveys from anywhere in the world
Create, view and edit forms on any device, regardless of screen size. Users from all over the world can answer your questions from computers, mobile phones and tablets.
Socrative
Socrative service gives the opportunity to create test items of 3 types:
- multiple choice
- true/false
- short answer
Use interactive whiteboard or screen to display results of testing or competition.
While students are undergoing such unconventional testing table with results can continuously broadcast on the big screen. So students see how they passing the test and how their classmates passing the test.
Quizlet
Quizlet is a free service that allows you to easily remember any information that can be presented as training cards. All you need to do is find in the database or create interactive material - own cards, adding pictures and audio files to them and then do exercises and play games to memorize this material.
To log in, you must register or log in via Google or Facebook.
How to create cards?
The creation of training material for learning begins with the creation of a new training module.
You must enter the module name, then enter terms and definitions. You can also change the visibility settings and editing. Conveniently, you can import data by simply copying and pasting it from Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc. Also, each term is automatically offered a definition and corresponding picture.
I conducted a survey of my classmates and friends using my.survio.com
